Tom Lamb spent much of his entertainment career as Musical Director for the nationally known oldies group The Vogues. In 15 years as leader of The Vogues back-up band, Tom has performed in front of audiences all over the country from Hollywood to New York and from Florida to Alaska. He has even performed at sea on Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines!
Tom has been in the entertainment business for over 50 years, working his first paying job as a guitarist while still in 8th grade. Since then, he played in numerous bands around the Pittsburgh area before landing the Musical Director job with The Vogues. And with The Vogues band, he has backed dozens of nationally known oldies acts and played in many of the finest theaters in the country. He also worked for several years as an on-air radio personality at WSHH and WLTJ in the Pittsburgh radio market, at WIXZ in East McKeesport and at WESA in Charleroi, PA. He brings all of this experience and more to every performance!
Tom now has an hour-long, one-man show of his own featuring familiar songs from the Great American Songbook. Each show is specifically tailored for seniors. Old favorites like Hank Williams’ Hey Good Lookin’ to Nat King Cole’s L.O.V.E. to Roger Miller’s King of the Road and Frank Sinatra’s I Get a Kick Out of You keep audiences tapping their toes and singing along while sparking memories from "back in the day". His professional presentation and engaging manner make it a memorable hour of entertainment!
